In a recent appearance on Bloomberg’s Open Interest, MNTN CEO Mark Douglas sat down to discuss what makes the platform unique — and why it’s changing the game for advertisers of all sizes.
“We’ve taken television, and I mean specifically in this case streaming TV, something that’s been the domain of really big brands with really big budgets and big agencies, and we’ve democratized it,” Douglas said. “Now, any size brand — who previously might’ve just been doing digital marketing on Instagram or Google paid search — can leverage streaming TV to get their next customers.”
Douglas also discussed MNTN’s transition to a publicly traded company and what it means for the road ahead. With a wider investor base and a fast-growing market, Douglas underscored the mission behind this momentum: “I take it very seriously that we’re here to make money for the team, for our customers, and for those investors… and we do that by growing the business.”
