The best place to find your audience is where they’re actively engaged, and for an ever-increasing swath of people, that’s on streaming television. Connected TV has become one of the most important channels for delivering impactful (and measurable!) performance results, for big and small brands alike. In fact, 93% of MNTN customers are first-time TV advertisers — so if you’re ready to take the plunge, you’ll be in good company with us.
But if you don’t want to jump into the deep end just yet, we get it. In this half-day MNTN workshop, our Performance TV experts — alongside a few special guests — will help you wade into the waters of CTV to show how you can run successful campaigns, from kickoff to conversion.
Sessions in this workshop include:
Explore the State of the CTV Industry: 9am PT
First things first, why CTV? You (hopefully) already know that CTV is a great opportunity for advertisers to reach their audience and drive performance in the process. In this session, Tim Edmundson, Senior Director of Content Marketing and Research at MNTN, will drill down on those opportunities by sharing key stats about the current state of the industry to make the case for why your brand should get on TV today.
Find Your Audience on CTV: 9:30 am PT
Of course your advertising needs to reach the right people — but how does audience targeting really work on Connected TV? In this session, Jessica DeLeon, Customer Success Account Director at MNTN, will walk you through the ins and outs of audience selection, from prospecting and retargeting to local targeting options, and even how you can use keywords on the TV screen.
Develop Creative That Converts: 10am PT
You may be thinking, “All of this CTV info is great, but I have no idea how to make video creative.” Don’t bail on us just yet — that’s what this session is all about! Jonathan Del Gatto, co-founder of Brighter and a member of QuickFrame’s Maker Community, will be joined by Allie Archerd, Customer Success Account Director at MNTN, to discuss all things creative, from the elements that make a great CTV commercial to tips on working with video makers to produce high-impact ads that don’t break the bank.
Understand Where Your Ads Are Running: 10:45am PT
Here’s a question you may have already asked: Where exactly are my CTV ads going to show up? The short answer: alongside the premium content your target audience loves on ad-supported streaming. The long answer? Well, that’s what you’ll hear in this session — directly from our inventory partners themselves. Join Peter Blacker, Head of Partnerships at MNTN, as well as Kyle Benn, Vice President of Demand Facilitation at Magnite, and Andrew Tint, General Manager of Programmatic Partnerships at Sling, for an overview of CTV inventory, where you can expect your ads will run, and CTV’s unique advantages compared to digital and social video.
Demystify CTV’s Reporting and Attribution: 11:20am PT
Connected TV is a powerful performance channel, but for first-time TV advertisers, understanding the ins and outs of its performance features may feel a little daunting. In this session, Will Burghes, Head of Professional Services at Rockerbox, will break down the basics of two of CTVs most important capabilities: measurement and reporting. They’ll help you understand how measurement works on an unclickable screen, as well as strategies to help you succeed, even if you’ve never run ads on TV before.
So You Want to Be a CTV Advertiser? 11:50am PT
By the end of this half day event, you should be well on your way to launching your first CTV campaign. In this final session, moderator Jacob Trussell, content lead at MNTN, will offer a quick summary of the key takeaways from the day, as well as the next steps you need to know to get started. You’ll be seeing performance results before you know it!
